Adelaide Branch Vision
We are a relevant and exciting environment for both development of career aerospace and aviation professionals, and also a place for people with a passion or interest in aviation to feel that they belong. We want to see new friendships established, and relationships developed, around our common interests of aviation and aerospace.
The Adelaide Branch hosts a monthly lecture for the enjoyment and professional development of its members.
Unless otherwise specified, lectures are held on the last Tuesday of each month, commencing at 6pm, preceeded by refreshments at 5:30pm. All lectures are held at UniSA, Mawson Lakes Campus (Building MM1-05, Mawson Lakes Boulevard) unless otherwise specified. There is ample car parking adjacent the lecture hall.

What we're doing
The Adelaide Branch Committee and wider Royal Aeronautical Society leadership continues to meet regularly by teleconference. While Adelaide Branch has not yet hosted online lectures we are hopeful that our Members have been able to access and take advantage of other events coordinated by other Branches. Please check the 'Events' page on the website for upcoming events.
Looking ahead
One of the great things about the aviation industry is the interest shared by all who are involved in every sector of our industry. At difficult times like these it is very important that we maintain our sense of unity, identity and common purpose. We hope the online Branch events and our community facilitate this.
While the current situation may be novel to the aviation industry, one certainty to which we can all look forward is that there will continue to be an aviation industry in the future, even though it is unlikely to be quite the same. Innovation always helps society out of adversity and we shall see that happen again over the coming months.
How you can help
We hope that you have seen and enjoyed the ‘Member Stories’ articles that have been made available on the website and it is expected that more of these will be posted. The experiences of our members show how much ingenuity and perseverance there is in our community to overcome even the unprecedented challenges we are currently facing.
We encourage our members to contribute any stories that they see fit that we can post to our social media channels. We welcome all contributions long and short and these can include:
